Mücahitler Daraya'da Zabadani'ye destek için Laheeb operasyonunu başlattı. Operasyon mücahitlerin kazdıkları tünellerinden bölgeye sızmasıyla başladı. Mücahitler toplamda 70'ten fazla rejim askerini öldürdü. Ölenlerin arasında esir alınmaktansa intihar eden bir rejim subayı da bulunuyor.
Çok miktarda ganimet alındı ve Jamiyat bölgesinde Mazze havaalanını gören stratejik binalar ele geçirildi. Üç gündür süren çatışmalarda şu ana kadar 23 mücahit şehit oldu.
Bir habere göre mücahitler bu saldırı için 7 aydır hazırlanıyordu.

In Daraya mujahideen started the Laheeb battle to support Zabadani – The battle started with the rebels infiltrating the regime forces through tunnels.
 Rebels killed more than 70 in the regime forces including an officer who rather commit suicide than being made prisonner. They also grabbed many arms and amunitions, liberated a group of buildings in the Jamiyat which overlooks the Mazze military airport and are considered as strategic to the rebels.
